Norwegian Institute of Bioeconomy Research. Contributes knowledge on plant and food production, climate-smart agriculture, land use, genetic resources, forests and agricultural economics.
NOFIMA
Norway's largest food research institute. Supports independent testing, measurement methods and validation of how the technology performs in real food-system settings.
Gartnerhallen
Norwegian cooperative for vegetable growers. Brings production environments, horticultural expertise and real application needs from the growing side.
BAMA
Norwegian supplier of fruit and vegetables. Brings distribution, hygiene requirements and customer perspectives from the fresh-produce chain.

Company background
From a project inside SEID to an independent company.
Nitriva has been developed as a stealth project within SEID since 2021, supported by SEID’s internal funding, engineering resources and technology infrastructure.
Following the recent decision to spin it out, we are now preparing to raise external capital to establish the independent company, validate customer applications and accelerate commercialisation.
